Darker colors mean more medals. When the map is hovered
over, a popup displays with the data specific to that
country. You can explore the data using the "view as table"
button, which contains all of the same data as is displayed
on the map. When the year, sport or event filters are
changed, the table is adjusted to reflect the filters.
